Post Malone Shows Off His 55-Lb Weight Loss In New Shirtless Instagram Post As Fans Gush: ‘No Need To Wear A Shirt Anymore’

Post Malone took to Instagram this week to exhibit his slimmer and more chiseled physique, which the rapper, 28, attained after losing 55 pounds and reassessing his dietary habits.

In the newly shared Adam DeGross-shot pic, the Grammy nominee (born Austin Richard Post) was shirtless, exhibiting his highlighting his intricate tattoo collection and svelte frame as fans hailed his achievement.

On April 23rd, the “Circles” hitmaker shared the image, forgoing a caption. In the hunky pic, he wore brown trousers that he left unbuttoned, revealing black Tom Ford boxers. Fans headed to the upload’s comments section to share their thoughts.

“No need to wear a shirt anymore,” one wrote as another added: “posty is in his sexy era and i’m here for it.” Someone else chimed in, commenting: “you can’t tell me this man isn’t F-I-N-E.” Others commended his recent transformation and new collaboration with Taylor Swift: “Looking good as usual, love your new song with Taylor.”

In April of last year, Post shared with his fans that his newfound motivation to prioritize his well-being stemmed from the birth of his daughter in May 2022, which prompted him to alter his dietary habits.

During his appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast last summer, Post shared that cutting down on his soda intake played a role in his successful weight loss.

"Soda is so bad. It’s so good but so bad," he told host Joe Rogan in August 2023. Post added, regarding his slimdown: "I was like 240 and now I'm like 185."

In a message for his Instagram followers last year, Post reflected on fatherhood and his health journey: "I guess dad life kicked in and I decided to kick soda and start eating better so I can be around for a long time for this little angel," he wrote last April.

In other news, Post is currently climbing the charts thanks to his duet with Swift, 34, on the lead single "Fortnight" off her new record, The Tortured Poets Department.    

Many fans in his new upload's comments expressed just how much they loved the pop track. "I love you, it’s ruining my life," one wrote with heart emojis (quoting lyrics from the song) as someone else added: "I think we’re ready for [more] new music."
