1. ‘Disney Royals’ concert in Melbourne
Space Coast Symphony Orchestra celebrates unforgettable Disney music with a concert at the Eau Gallie High School performing arts center, 1400 Commodore Blvd., Melbourne, on Saturday, April 20 at 7 p.m. Vocalists Samantha Barnes and Kit Cleto join the SCSO to present beloved songs from some of the Disney's most famous scores, including “Beauty and the Beast,” “The Little Mermaid,” “Hunchback of Notre Dame,” “Frozen,” “Cinderella,” “Aladdin,” “The Lion King” and “Pocahontas.” A second show will be at The Emerson Center, 1590 27th Ave., Vero Beach, on Sunday, April 21 at 3 p.m. Tickets are $30 in advance, $35 at the door or free for ages 18 and younger or with a college ID. 2. Pet Fest and 5K Walk & Wag in Cocoa Beach
Calling all pups, bring your person and go for a walk in downtown Cocoa Beach on Saturday, April 20 from 8 to 10 a.m. The 2024 Walk & Wag begins at Rocket Health Care, 30A Woodland Ave, Cocoa Beach, for a stroll/run down Minutemen Cswy. to Cocoa Beach High School and back. Afterwards, the 2024 Pet Fest on Minutemen Causeway continues from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Enjoy live music, food trucks, vendors and fun for the whole family and pets. 3. ‘The Price Is Right Live’ at the King Center
The interactive stage show “The Price Is Right Live” comes to the King Center, 3865 N. Wickham Road, Melbourne, on Thursday, April 25 at 8 p.m. Eligible individuals may hear their names called and "Come On Down" to win. Prizes may include appliances, vacations and possibly a new car. 4. ‘The Sunshine Boys’ at Melbourne Civic Theatre
The play “The Sunshine Boys” is on stage at Melbourne Civic Theatre, 817 E. Strawbridge Ave., through April 28. 5. 'Jekyll & Hyde' on Merritt Island
Merritt Island High's theater department presents their 2024 spring musical, "Jekyll & Hyde." The show will be at the school's performing arts center, 100 Mustang Way, Merritt Island, on Friday, April 19 at 7 p.m., Saturday, April 20 at 2 and 7 p.m., and Sunday, April 21 at 2 p.m. In this gothic musical based on the classic story by Robert Louis Stevenson, murder and chaos are pitted against love and virtue. 6. Bark Brew Fest in Cocoa Village
The 32nd Bark Brew Fest will be at the Dirty Oar Beer Company, 329 King Street, Cocoa Village, on Saturday, April 20 from 5 to 7 p.m. Dress in aloha wear and bring your canine companion to enjoy the fun, including bingo, goody bags, raffle baskets, an outside doggie beer garden and more. All pets must be on a leash or in appropriate carriers, and have current vaccinations and county tags. Proceeds will benefit Schnauzer Love Rescue. 7. Charity golf tournament in Rockledge
The City of Rockledge hosts a charity golf tournament on Saturday, April 20 at Turtle Creek Golf Club, 1278 Admiralty Blvd., Rockledge. 8. Tour the historic home at Green Gables
Green Gables, 1501 S. Harbor City Blvd., Melbourne, will host an open house every Saturday in April from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The historic home is a living history museum showcasing life in the early years of Melbourne. Visitors will learn about the history of the Wells family, who played a key role in the development of the community. The cost is $10, or free for children 12 and younger. Visit greengables.org.
