PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Mr. Worldwide and T-Pain are going on a “Party After Dark Tour” this summer and stopping in Virginia Beach.

The Friday, August 23 show will be at Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater at Virginia Beach. Presale starts Thursday at 10 a.m. with the code “RIFF” and tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday at 10 a.m.

This is Pitbull’s first trip to the 757 since 2021, when Iggy Azalea opened for him at the amphitheater. He was most recently on the “Trilogy Tour” with Ricky Martin and Enrique Iglesias.

The new tour actually opens up at Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow, Virginia, the night before on August 21, and goes through October 5. “Get Low” and “Snap Yo Fingers” rapper Lil Jon will join Pitbull on certain dates.

Mr. 305 just recently released “Trackhouse” and “Trackhouse: Daytona 500 Edition,” inspired by his NASCAR Cup Series team, Trackhouse Racing. The 500 edition features an array of popular samples, including guest appearances from Dolly Parton and Tim McGraw.

T-Pain meanwhile is solo touring earlier in the summer with stops in Doswell, Virginia on June 13 and in Baltimore on June 25. He just recently released “On Top of the Covers,” a collection of cover songs sung without his famous autotune sound, in 2023.

The 39-year-old was also just recently the victim of a hit-and-driver on Monday in Atlanta, but fortunately only reported minor injuries.
