1.Marrakesh, Morocco
"Only place I’ve ever been that I’ve sworn I’d never go back to. After two days of walking around followed by groups of men and boys trying to touch my wife (who was dressed modestly with legs and shoulders covered), followed by aggression when either she or I voiced our displeasure with this, we gave up trying to sight-see and spent the rest of our vacation in the hotel."
"I had this exact experience. Not safe for solo female travelers. I have traveled all over the world. Morocco ranks dead f*cking last as a place I would visit again."

Oh, and everyone is allowed to smoke in the casinos, so if you do not smoke, good luck. It’s a sinus infection in day three."

It's non-practical to get around (you have to walk through the same bridges over and over again to get to different parts of the city). It's on the verge of turning from 'beautiful, old architecture' to 'decaying, unsafe, old architecture.' And it's full of ANNOYING TOURISTS, though I was a tourist myself."

"Went some years ago to experience the city and nightlife. I’m a pretty outgoing and friendly guy. I couldn’t get anyone to give me the time of day. I spent a week going to bars, coffee shops, social events, etc. People would just turn away from me when I said hello or attempted to strike up a conversation. One of the least hospitable/friendly places I’ve been in my life. 0/10 would not recommend."
"I grew up in Austin. Somewhere along the way, it went from being a midsized city with a cool, laid back atmosphere to a major city that was cold, corporate, and too crowded. The coolness of Austin went from genuine weirdness, a place where hippies and cowboys coexisted, to a cold, corporate playground for smug tech bros. I miss what the city was, but I’m glad I moved elsewhere."
