People Are Obsessing Over Amy Schumer’s Hilariously Relatable Photo With Baby Gene

Amy Schumer has been nothing but honest about the ups and downs that come with pregnancy and new motherhood. From sharing a photo of her C-section scar to loving her “soft post-baby body,” she hasn’t been shy about any of it, but her latest photo with her 4-month-old baby Gene will no doubt put a smile on your face.

In the picture, the 38-year-old comedian is surrounded by a group of friends—all of whom have a baby in hand. Schumer has her eyes closed with a cheeky grin on her face. Baby Gene looks adorably confused and is reaching for his mom. “Friends for 30 years. Still got it. And now we got them,” she captioned the hilarious picture.

Naturally, people in the comments couldn’t help but appreciate Schumer’s humor for posting the seemingly chaotic photo in the first place, while others gushed over the expression on Gene’s face.

“Hahaha I’m dying. I can’t believe you posted this one!!! No one is looking at the camera!!!” read one comment.

“This just made me smile ear to ear,” wrote model Ashley Graham, who recently announced her first pregnancy.

“Look at Gene. He recognizes you,” fellow comedian Chelsea Handler wrote.

“The way Gene is looking at you and reaching his little hand out!!!” said another.

Just last week, Schumer announced that she would returning to work after maternity leave by posting a heartwarming photo of her napping with her baby. “Back to work this week. Feeling like 😳💔😢😀,” she wrote.

After dealing with pregnancy complications that left her feeling violently, Schumer was forced to cancel part of her comedy tour, but it seems like the birth of baby Gene has profoundly influenced her outlook on life. “Ok here’s my post baby annoying post and my takeaway from pregnancy,” she wrote back in May. “Women are the shit. Men are cool and whatever but women are f—ing warriors and capable of anything.”
