Actor Paul Reubens appeared on Thursday's Celebrity Wheel of Fortune to raise money for the charity Feeding America. Reubens, who created the iconic Pee-wee Herman character, generated a lot of buzz on Twitter while also generating a lot of money for the needy.

Reubens, who is 68, displayed much of the charm and comedic timing that made him a huge star in the 1980s. Viewers flocked to Twitter to celebrate the rare appearance by the legendary actor.

While he failed to solve the bonus puzzle, Reubens won $52,000 for Feeding America.

Celebrity Wheel of Fortune airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
