South Korean actor Park Bo Gum is the latest star to be named CELINE's global brand ambassador, joining BLACKPINK's Lisa.

The 29-year-old is the first-ever male actor to join the Parisian brand's family. The news comes after the Reply 1988 and Record of Youth star took headlines at Paris Fashion Week Men's in June, appearing at the house's show alongside Lisa and V.

W Korea made the announcement with an editorial featuring Park, who is seen wearing looks from Hedi Slimane's "Boy Doll" collection. His outfits include punk-inspired leather jackets, logo necklaces, sleek belts, jeans and more.

Luxury fashion brands have been increasingly tapping into the South Korean entertainment scene, with houses like Gucci tapping the buzzy, up-and-coming K-pop group NewJeans and Loewe enlisting NMIXX as its brand ambassador. Thanks to rise of K-entertainment, the reach has gone beyond the music industry with Balenciaga partnering with actor Han Sohee and Burberry with soccer player Son Heung-min.

Park Bo Gum, who debuted in 2011 through the movie Blind, marked his breakthrough moment in 2015 with his role in Reply 1988 followed by lead roles in the K-dramas Love in the Moonlight and Record of Youth.
