It is reported that the first cookbook on record was four clay tablets from 1700 BC in Ancient Mesopotamia. People have always loved following an excellent recipe to create a knockout dish, but sometimes, our pockets don't like it as much.

I feel like parents have always found a way to make cheap meals for every mouth at the dinner table; meals that are as delicious as they are easy to prep.
