Paige Borrowed One of Ree's Dresses From the '80s and the Photos Are Priceless
Paige Drummond is pretty in pink!
Last weekend, Ree's youngest daughter paid tribute to "the greatest decade ever" when she dressed up for a 1980s prom-themed party at the University of Arkansas, where she attends college. While Paige could have shopped at a vintage store to find a dress for the occasion, she didn't have to: The perfect getup was already in her mom's closet! As she explained on Instagram alongside a slideshow of photos from the event, Paige wore a "dress by Ree."
The light pink gown featured oversized shoulders, layers of floral detailing, and plenty of sparkles. In other words, it looked like exactly the type of thing someone would wear to prom in the '80s—and it sounds like Ree might've done just that!
"Seeing you in that dress is…amazing," Ree commented on Paige's post. "1986 all the way!!!"
Paige finished off the retro outfit with a flower corsage and pink shoulder bag, long waves in her hair, and a pair of white sneakers. (We all know the Drummond ladies love their comfy shoes!)
This isn't the first time Paige has played dress-up with her mom's formalwear. Last year, she tried on Ree's "circa 1996 wedding dress" just for fun and that one fit perfectly, too.
Like mother, like daughter!
