French ready-to-wear brand A.P.C. partnered with Lacoste for a collaboration that sees the iconic crocodile propelled into a new dimension of sophistication.

The crocodile, once the nickname of brand founder and tennis player René Lacoste, is intrinsic to the Lacoste brand and continues to be a focus for this collaboration. The brand's Artistic Director Louise Trotter worked alongside A.P.C.'s founders Jean and Judith Touitou to merge both brand's values, resulting in a print that sees the famous crocodile encircling A.P.C.'s logo.

The collaboration revives essential sportswear pieces with military accents, staying true to A.P.C.'s brand identity while adding playful touches. Standout pieces in the collection include the classic windbreaker, available in navy blue nylon, khaki gabardine and in A.P.C.'s signature denim. Silhouettes are loose and roomy, while classic polo shirts are given an oversized feel and transformed with patchwork details. Elsewhere, cosy fleeces and joggers are reimagined with different iterations of the iconic logo.

Accessories also feature in the collaboration, from sneakers and striped socks to giant tote bags and an A.P.C. x Lacoste candle, inspired by the Parisian tennis courts in the Luxembourg Gardens.

The new collaboration will be available for purchase on June 8 from the A.P.C. website.
