‘Orphan Black’ Cast Talks Final Season, Plays Clone Charades at Comic-Con

In the poetic words of founding father George Washington — or, more accurately, Lin-Manuel Miranda — the cast of BBC America’s cult clone series Orphan Black is teaching fans how to say goodbye. With the show set to end after its fifth and final season in 2017, the members of the Clone Club are beginning their farewell tour at Comic-Con International, and they made sure to swing by Yahoo TV’s studio to share some laughs and memories.

Let’s start with the memories. We quizzed the cast — including Jordan Gavaris, Kevin Hanchard and Kristian Bruun — about what they expect and hope to see happen as the end approaches. Bruun’s wish list, for example, includes a memorable death…if Donnie were to die, of course. (He’d better not, writers!) They also revealed which props and pieces of the set they’d most want in their own homes, from a football painting to the “steampunk” décor on display in Rachel’s room/prison cell nestled inside Susan Duncan’s home.

The laughs, meanwhile, were provided by very special guest, acting double Kathryn Alexandre, who functions as star Tatiana Maslany’s on-set clone. Alexandre challenged the trio to another game of “Orphan Black Charades,” making them guess which of the multiple Leda clones she was portraying.

And if you’ve seen these three play our clone-related games before, you know that they take them very seriously, especially Gavaris, whose in-depth knowledge of the series qualifies him for super-fan status. Watch the video to find out whether he emerges triumphant…one last time.

The fifth and final season of Orphan Black will premiere in 2017 on BBC America
