He’s an actor and writer, who’s best known for playing Michael the Butler in the BBC series Look Around You. Although he studied law at Cambridge University, he later decided to pursue writing as a long-term career.

2. How did they meet?

The couple first met when they were working on a Cambridge University production of Alan Ayckbourn’s Table Manners at Footlights Dramatic Club. Colman later revealed that it was love at first sight. “My husband and I were very lucky. We met when we had nothing, and we loved each other then. So, we were all right,” she told The Telegraph. “We were 20, and he was also an actor. If you meet at that age, then you’re fine. For me, it was thunderbolts straight away.”

3. Are they married?

Yes, but details about their wedding have been kept a secret. The only thing we know is that they tied the knot in 2001.
