Robert Downey Jr. may have blasted Marvel in his acceptance speech at the BAFTAs, but one actor revealed that she can't get enough of them.

Speaking with Josh Horowitz of Happy Sad Confused in an extended interview for her upcoming film Wicked Little Letters, Colman said, "I love Marvel. I'm not ashamed to say it."

"I think there's room in the world for all genres," Colman continued. "I was very excited to be in a Marvel".

Colman starred as Sonya Falsworth in the Marvel miniseries Secret Invasion.

"I love the fact that they can pay you so much," Colman joked.

Jessie Buckley was also present for the interview, and when Horowitz asked her if she might be interested in dipping her toe into superhero movies, she said: "I think I don't belong," going on to say, "I don't want to be in a big tight".

Colman acknowledged the wider conversation around Marvel movies, saying, "I understand the battle in the cinemas. They might take up all the screens, and there's one screen doing this beautiful piece. I understand that," she said. "I do wish more people went to see the smaller, beautiful films, but I do - there's no point lying about it - when a Marvel film comes out, I f*****g love it".

Buckley shocked Colman by revealing, "I don't think I've actually ever seen a Marvel film". She said, "I just don't know if it's for me".

Buckley concluded by saying, "I should go and see a Marvel film", and Colman revealed that she's seen them all.
