On Tuesday, first lady Olena Zelenska attended a fashion event at The Pierre Hotel in New York City. Stateside for the United Nations General Assembly, the 41-year-old posed for the cameras in a baby blue three-piece suit. She paired the look with gray heels and pearl drop earrings.

“Had the opportunity to attend the annual First Lady Fashion 4 Development Luncheon to support the UN Millennium Development Goals and to honor the fashion industry for their contributions to the Global Sustainable Development Goals,” she wrote on Instagram alongside images from the event. “I express my deepest respect and sincere greetings to the nominees!”

Zelenska arrived in New York with her husband, Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky, earlier this week. She shared a picture of the pair deplaning on social media with the first lady, a former TV writer and producer, wearing a camel-colored suit, black top and scarf. The caption (translated) reads, “Arrived for a working visit in the United States.”

Before her husband’s campaign, Zelenska kept a relatively low profile. However, since becoming a public figure, she’s shared more of her life on her official Instagram account, including family photos with her kids and meetings with fellow foreign dignitaries.

On Sept. 15, she posted photos of a meeting between the first couple and Mila Kunis – whose family fled Soviet Ukraine when she was just seven – and her husband, Ashton Kutcher, writing that she enjoyed making their acquaintance.
