War of the Wings
April 27-28 at 1 p.m. at Waterside District, 333 Waterside Dr.
The Wing Festival is back in Downtown Norfolk. Try over 20 types of wings from local restaurants and chefs. There will be live music, entertainment, vendors, wing-eating contests and more. Tickets are still available. Click here to find out more.
Hank’s Crush Fest & Lū’au
Saturday, April 27 at noon at Hank’s Filling Station, 4301 Colley Ave.
Have your favorite crushes with live music with the Steel Drums of Juju Drums and pig pickin’ from the backyard smoker. A general admission tick includes entry, one Featured Crush, All-You-Can-Eat buffet and live music. Counter ordering will also be available. IgNITE: Sprung
Friday, April 26 from 7-10 p.m. at the Chrysler Museum, 1 Memorial Place (21+)
The Museum will transform in its new era of nightlife at IgNITE! This adults-only evening will have dancing, live performances, art-making and more. This springtime edition will have lush botanical-inspired art, Latin dance lessons by the Mambo Room, improv and other entertainment. Click here to register. 3rd Annual Isle of Wight County Fair Spring Fest
April 26-28 at Joel C. Bradshaw Fairgrounds, 21311 Courthouse Hwy., Windsor
Spring Fest is back at the fairgrounds. Spend the weekend with the Demolition Derby, carnival, rodeo, your favorite fair foods and more. Choose between a variety of food vendors and browse from over 25 market vendors.

26th Annual Ella Fitzgerald Music Festival
April 26-27 at Downing-Gross Cultural Arts Center, 2410 Wickham Avenue
The festival is back with two nights of music to honor Newport News icon, Ella Fitzgerald. On Friday, listen to Rene Marie & Experiment in Truth. On Saturday, watch Lisa Fischer with Taylor Eigsti. Grammy-winning vocalist Fischer will headline this year’s festival. Click here to purchase tickets.

Oceanfront Concerts
April 26-28 at the Virginia Beach Boardwalk, multiple stages and events
Oceanfront Concerts is almost here! The full weekend of entertainment kicks off Friday. Hear live music from national and local Hip Hop artists and DJs. There will be food and beachfront activities. Free music will be at the 17th Street Park and 24th Street Park each day from noon to 5 p.m. The Oceanfront Concerts will take place next to Neptune’s Park on Friday and Saturday night. The Porch on Long Creek 5th Anniversary
Saturday, April 27 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. at
Celebrate 5 years of dining on the Lynnhaven River on Saturday with an all day party. There will be local vendors, live music, specialty bites, promotions and more. Performances will take place all day with acts like Jason Cale, DJ Joe Fu and Chris Keys. Entry is free.
