NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) — Move aside Met Gala — the Pet Gala is coming to New York City.

The Pet Gala will feature iconic designs from the 2024 Met Gala replicated by Anthony Rubio, a pet couturier, in a glamorous evening of pet fashion. The event will debut at the Museum of the Dog in Manhattan on Monday, May 20.

Things to do around NYC

Those interested in attending can purchase tickets for $300 per person. Attendees will be greeted with a flower wall and watch the dogs strut a 21-foot red carpet.

“The designers for The Met Gala have months to create their looks for celebrities to shine on the red carpet. I have two weeks to recreate them and for dogs,” Rubio said.

There will also be a champagne reception, flower wall stations with celebrity dogs, and dinner at Club 101 with an open bar.
