NXT Women’s North American Champion To Be Crowned At NXT Battleground

The first-ever NXT Women’s North American Champion will be crowned at NXT Battleground.
At NXT Stand & Deliver, general manager Ava announced the introduction of the NXT Women’s North American Champion, but further details were unclear.
Ava came to the ring on the April 30 episode of WWE NXT and commented on the fact that some of the brand’s stars were selected during the 2024 WWE Draft. She stated that the brand must keep pushing forward, and with that in mind, the first NXT Women’s North American Champion would be crowned at NXT Battleground on June 9.
Ava stated that the champion would be crowned in a Ladder Match. She announced that the female roster would compete in a combine, and the 12 superstars who impressed the most would go on to compete in qualifying matches.

Jaida Parker, Arianna Grace, Sol Ruca, and Michin all came out to express their interest in the gold. Eventually, most of the women’s roster came to the ring, and everyone brawled.
