Now starring at Regal Hollywood-Ocala: lower prices

In a move that should make die-hard cinephiles and casual moviegoers happy, Regal Hollywood-Ocala announced a reduction in ticket prices for new Hollywood releases beginning this month.

For example, the price for an adult to attend an evening showing has dropped from $11.89 to $10, and the prices for an adult matinee ticket has gone from $10.44 to $8.

Also, matinee pricing has also extended from until 3 p.m. to until 4 p.m. for all.

According to a recent news release, the theater chain has confirmed that the lower prices won’t affect the quality of available films. Regal plans to show upcoming movies including “The Garfield Movie,” “Inside Out 2,” “Furiosa,” John Krasinski’s star-studded animated film “IF,” and what might be billed as a Barbenheimer follow-up: “The Fall Guy” with Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt.

Customers are encouraged to take advantage of the reduced pricing and catch up on past favorites, or enjoy upcoming titles like “Abigail” and “The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare,” which premiere this weekend.

Expect additional fees for premium viewing experiences such as 3D, 4DX, IMAX, RPX, ScreenX, and VIP screenings.
