Not everything about the NFL Draft is about football. See Gracie Hunt’s Chiefs dress

Gracie Hunt can always be counted on to make a statement on a red carpet, runway, magazine cover or, in this case, what looks like a hotel balcony.

The daughter of Chiefs CEO and owner Clark Hunt and his wife, Tavia, kicked off the first day of the NFL Draft Thursday by posting photos of herself in a sleek rib-knit dress from the NFL collection of Los Angeles lifestyle brand Staud Clothing.

One side is gold and the other is red, vertically two-toned in Chiefs colors. Stripes around the wrists lend a letter jacket look.

The “Shoko” dress ($195), with buttons up the front, can be worn as a dress or long cardigan. It is not surprisingly sold out on NFLshop.com, though a $175 cargo sweater in the same style is still available but almost gone. (The sweater is also available on Fanatics.com.)

“Countdown till we’re #OnTheClock. But this pick is already in: @Staud.Clothing x @NFL @Chiefs,” Hunt wrote on Instagram Thursday morning.

Two years ago, The New York Times dubbed Staud co-founder and designer Sarah “Staud” Staudinger “the new queen of Los Angeles.” Many stories about her mention that Cher is her godmother.

“Almost everyone in her life calls her Staud rather than Sarah, and that is also the name of her modestly sized fashion line, which has become closely associated with celebrities who wear the brand in their everyday lives: Emily Ratajkowski, Bella Hadid, Sophie Turner,” the Times wrote.

The dress reminds us of the half-and-half jacket Donna Kelce wore to the Super Bowl last year when her sons’ teams, the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles, played each other.

Half the jacket was Chiefs red, the other half Eagles green. She wore a Chiefs-Eagles jersey, too.

Hunt is always faithful to Chiefs colors when repping the team.

Chiefs fans — and Hunt’s 564,000 Instagram followers — have come to expect her pregame appearances on the sidelines in stylish fits, expert runway walks by the former Miss Kansas USA.

Here’s a reminder of the gold mini dress she wore on last year’s NFL Draft red carpet in Kansas City.
