At the top of 2016, Nina Dobrev debuted a bob haircut that commanded the attention of many. Since showing off her new look, all eyes have been on the actress’s hair, with many people trying to guess what she might do next. At last, that wait is over, and Dobrev has a snazzy new cropped cut with a funny little nickname to match.

While posing on the red carpet at the premiere of her upcoming film, Flatliners, Dobrev was spotted wearing a chic cream-colored ensemble along with a slightly shorter angled bob and blunt bangs. Her hairstylist, Riawna Capri, shared the look on Instagram and explained that the actress plays “CHLOE a Parisian artist, so we concocted this chic European look for her character.” Capri also mentioned in her post that they are calling it the “Nob,” which is a combined version of “Nina” and “bob.”

Dobrev also showed off her new ’do on Instagram with the caption, “World meet Bob. Bob… world.” The 28-year-old seems excited about her haircut, but her fans have mixed opinions. While some left comments such as “stunning” and “love it,” others still aren’t quite over the fact that she ditched her longer locks. One person wrote, “You look beautiful but can u pls stop cutting ur hair I miss the long hair.” Another shared the sentiment chiming in with, “You looked better in long hair but you’re always flawless.”

A few people came to Dobrev’s defense, and one person said, “She looks amazing with any hair style, y’all are so quick to judge. She’s amazing, her appearance shouldn’t matter, and if you don’t like it keep it to yourself, there’s no point in trying to bring her down. My girl is amazing.” One commenter wrote, “Not my fav hairstyle on you but at least you can pull it off! You got the face and figure for any hairstyle beautiful!”
