Naomie Harris Joins Steven Soderbergh’s ‘Black Bag’ For Focus Features

Naomie Harris is the latest to join the Steven Soderbergh thriller Black Bag at Focus Features. The film stars Michael Fassbender, Cate Blanchett, Rege-Jean Page and Marisa Abela. Soderbergh will direct from a script by David Koepp. Casey Silver and Greg Jacobs are producing.

Plot details are being kept under wraps other than it being described as a spy thriller. Deadline broke the news last month that Focus had landed the hot package after it hit the market and the plan is to shoot this spring.

The Oscar-nominated actress, best known for roles in Moonlight and Skyfall, was most recently seen in the Showtime series The Man That Fell To Earth. On the film side, she was seen in Apple’s Swan Song opposite Mahershala Ali.

She is repped by Untitled Entertainment, WME, Artists Partnership and Johnson Shapiro Slewett & Kole.
