More from Deadline

Travis plays Patty, Doug’s (Hodge) overbearing mother and Alice’s (Robb) nightmare mother-in-law. She is a social climber dying for a grandchild and has no problem getting into Alice and Doug’s business about why they’re taking so long.

Avitia portrays Ford, Joel (Davis) and Misty’s son. An uninspired student with no direction, he’s surprised by Birdie’s (Fumero) sudden interest in helping him make his way in the world.

Maggie Kiley is directing the pilot, which she is executive producing with Bans via her Minnesota Logging Co., Krebs and Casey Kyber.

Travis recently wrapped the indie Sovereign, opposite Dennis Quaid and Nick Offerman, and was seen in Ordinary Angels, opposite Hilary Swank and Alan Ritchson. On the television side, she most recently co-starred on the CW’s Ride. She also starred in Last Man Standing, The Kominsky Method and Mr. Mercedes. She’s repped by Greenlight Management and Innovative Artists.

Avitia most recently appeared as Neil Flores on Disney+’s Raven’s Home. Known for his role as Franklin Delgado on Gamer’s Guide to Pretty Much Everything, his other TV credits include Pete the Cat and Breakwater. On the film side, Avitia has appeared in Zero, The Sound and the Shadow and The Shifting, among others. He’s repped by CESD, Luber Roklin Entertainment and Myman Greenspan
