Music on the Square returns to downtown Jonesborough on May 3

JONESBOROUGH, Tenn. (WJHL) — Jonesborough’s Music on the Square will kick off the 2024 season next week.

From May 3 through September 27, musicians from a variety of genres will perform in front of the Washington County courthouse in downtown Jonesborough every Friday from 7–9 p.m. Music on the Square will take place during Jonesborough Days this year.

Local angler reels in 50-inch muskellunge on Nolichucky River

The event is free and open to the public, and a food truck will also be on-site each week.

Multiple genres are represented in this year’s lineup, including bluegrass, jazz, rock, americano, and blues.

The 2024 lineup order is Trey Hensley & Rob Ickes, Cruz Contreras, Peterson Perkins Quartet, Ferd Band, Aaron Mills Project, Johnson City Jazz Collective, Empty Bottle String Band, Blue Ridge Girls, Zondo, YeeHaw String Band, Roxanne and the Big Bad Buzz, Dave Eggar, Johnson City Community Concert Band, J.P. Mathes & Fiddling Leona, Kris Truelsen & the Farm and Fun Time Band, Palmyra, Blue Ridge Gathering, Caleb Caudle, Florencia & the Feeling, Aaron Vance, Sam Lewis and the Swingbillies of BooneTown.
