MSCHF's Newest Footwear Release Is "Super Normal"

Creative studio MSCHF has just announced its latest release, and it's a lot more "normal" than you might think.

Off the back of its Astro Boy-inspired Big Red Boots, the Brooklyn-based studio is returning to release new colorways of its signature sneaker silhouettes. First up, is the Super Normal 2 sneaker, which previously landed in a striking black "5 O'Clock Shadow" colorway.

The vibrant sneaker has now been reimagined in a crisp "White Mint" colorway, just in time for Spring. Crafted with an all-white leather upper, the sneaker boasts wavy leather overlays and perforated toe boxes -- which continue the wavy design with distortions. Teal-colored accents complete the otherwise minimal silhouette, appearing across curved lacing systems and tongue tags.

Elsewhere, the shoe features oversized MSCHF branding and multi-colored rope laces, complete with metallic lace dubraes in questionable proportions. Finally, the Super Normal 2 is rounded out by cartoon-inspired exclamation mark embroidery and ribbed teal bottoms.

Take a look at the MSCHF Super Normal 2 sneaker in "White Mint" above, ahead of its rumored release date of March 2023. The sneaker is set to retail for $170 USD and can be purchased from the brand's website.
