The creative foodie had TikTokers’ mouths watering. “If you’re going to make any of my recipes, let it be this churro cheesecake,” Valerie says. She starts by mixing sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Then she melts two tablespoons of butter and brushes it on a baking dish. Next, she sprinkles the cinnamon sugar onto the baking dish, warning her viewers to make sure they “sprinkle that cinnamon sugar evenly”. Valerie places a sheet of dough on top of the cinnamon sugar, then moves on to the next step of the recipe — preparing the cheesecake filling. Once the filling is ready, Valerie pours it into the baking dish in an even layer, then places a second sheet of dough on top. She covers the dough in melted butter and cinnamon sugar so that the cheesecake filling is sandwiched between two layers of sugary dough. Then she bakes the pastry at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes. Valerie’s churro cheesecake shows that there’s no need to choose between your favorite desserts.
