I’m just going to say it. Fans of The Traitors are a passionate breed. After a stellar second season with host Alan Cumming, they have been guessing who will be part of Season 3. After Season 2 featured mostly reality stars, viewers have been eagerly awaiting a cast announcement. No luck so far, but there have been plenty of rumors.

Former Real Housewives of New York City star Dorinda Medley was rumored to be joining the cast. That hint was dropped by none other than one of the second season’s most duplicitous players, Phaedra Parks. And Phaedra was devilishly entertaining as a Traitor.

There were also whisperings that The Real Housewives of Potomac alum Monique Samuels was packing her best plaid outfits for Scotland. But were the streets of Potomac giving us some bad intel?

Monique said no thank you to The Traitors

The Peach Report on X, formerly known as Twitter, posted Monique’s Instagram response to the gossip. They captioned their post, “Monique Samuels shuts down recent claims that she’s joining The Traitors Season 3.”

In her Instagram post, Monique wrote, “Neither a traitor or a faithful. Sorry to disappoint but the rumors ARE NOT TRUE.” She continued, “WTF?! I love y’all though! And I do love that show! Catch me weekdays where I actually am daily 6am-10am

❤

@goodmorningshowonwpgc,” she added.

In the comments, she was questioned, “Would you do it if you were asked?” Monique responded, “I actually considered it but later declined.”

Monique’s decision isn’t surprising as she hasn’t been on the best terms with Bravo. I’ll never stop loving her cracking open her binder of receipts at the Season 5 reunion.

Monique also claimed that she was offered a role on The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. But she added that she had “no desire” to film the show.

“I didn’t feel like I could be the same Monique that people were accustomed to seeing anymore when it came to that particular franchise and that particular network, because there was so much toxicity there,” she explained.

Fingers crossed that a cast list for Season 3 of The Traitors is revealed soon.

You can catch The Traitors streaming on Peacock.
