Mission: Yozakura Family episode 5 recap
The episode starts with Taiyo walking back to the mansion while talking to Mito on the phone. He is approached by Detective Hotokeyama and taken to the precinct for questioning. Hotokeyama asks him to reveal the criminal organization for which he works. However, Taiyo denies his claims and reveals Kyoichiro, who was listening. Hotokoyema tells Kyoichiro that Taiyo has passed the test and will receive missions from him.
The next day, Taiyo tries to sleep in class but is unsuccessful in his attempts due to Kyoichiro’s antics. The latter enters the class, stating he will be teaching today. He plans to train Taiyo to reach a half-awake state to protect himself. He unleashes a sleeping gas, knocking out everyone except Mutsumi, who had a mask. Taiyo manages to reach the half-awake state and battles Kyoichiro in class.
Elsewhere, Taiyo gets a mission to stake out some couples at the amusement park, but Mutsumi follows him so he doesn’t look weird. They investigate all the suspicious couples but find nothing. While having a break, one of the couples starts arguing, revealing their firearms and attacking each other.
Taiyo rescues a kid trapped under a table, but his gift for Mutsumi gets shot. He shoots both of them with his gun and calls Hotokeyama to arrest them. The episode ends with Taiyo giving Mutsumi the rose on top of the Ferris wheel.
