Miley Cyrus Says She and Demi Lovato Will Be 'Friends Forever'

They met up at the March for Our Lives.

Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato may be years past working alongside each other during their Disney days, but it seems that when they reunite, they pick up right where they've left off. And what's more, Miley says they're definitely "friends forever."

Miley and Demi were just two of the many celebs who came out for the March for Our Lives on Saturday, March 24. For those who were following along, you'll remember that Miley also performed one of her nostalgic and sentimental hits, "The Climb," for the event. Though there was a lot going on, when the two ran into each other, they stopped for a photo which Miley posted to her Twitter account.

"Been friends forever & happy to stand with you on important days like this!" she wrote on the photo of her and Demi.

Fans wasted no time praising the two, saying how happy they were to see them back together, especially on such a powerful day. Though Demi hasn't responded specifically to Miley's shout out yet, she has been vocal on social media over the past few days about her support for the event.

Not only is it amazing to see that Miley and Demi remain close all of these years, it's even more inspiring to see them reconnecting over important matters — and using their voices to call for change.
