Morena Baccarin in 'Fire Country' Season 2

Morena Baccarin makes her debut as Sgt. Mickey Fox in tomorrow’s new episode of Fire Country—and if the episode succeeds, she’ll get her own spinoff (it’s in development and hasn’t been ordered yet). This is a big moment in Fire Country history. And Parade has the exclusive sneak peek clip of how she makes her exciting entrance.

Mickey Fox is a local deputy sheriff and the sister of Sharon Leone (Diane Farr). On Fire Country, we first meet her while she’s pursuing a suspect in a helicopter in the air above where Station 42 and Three Rock firefighters are working.

We learn some good information about Mickey in the brief clip. She’s a cop with deep ties to her community—she knows the suspect because she went to high school with his wife, and can get his cell phone number to call him and order him to land his chopper. And she’s the kind of cop who will call a suspect “dude.” She’s got personality.

At the end of the clip, the suspect throws a bag of cash out of his helicopter, an act that will set the episode’s plot in motion. You’ll have to tune in to see what happens next.
