Mick Jagger’s GF Melanie Hamrick Just Had to Defend Their Son From Trolls Doing This Insanely Invasive Action

Mom-shamers and trolls are, sadly, everywhere on social media, especially on Instagram. Many have learned to either ignore them or clap back, ending their troll-dom. However, Mick Jagger’s girlfriend Melanie Hamrick had to call out something that trolls did, and it’s so unbelievably invasive and disturbing. These trolls made an account of her seven-year-old son, Devi, and pretended to be him.

Per the Sun, Hamrick recently posted on her Instagram a plea to the app, hoping they’d take down the account, despite trying numerous times with no answer.

In the archived post, she wrote, “Instagram do better. My seven-year-old son does not have an account. This person is impersonating a child — completely disgusting. Instagram has been notified but has not taken this site down.”

The account she was referring to was an account pretending to be her and Jagger’s son. It garnered a few dozen followers, but it was finally taken down on April 19.

Mom-shaming is already shameful, but impersonating a child to mock and hurt them and their mother? That is downright disgusting, and we’re happy that Instagram finally took it down (better late than never). We’re so sorry that Hamrick had to go through this, and we sincerely hope this doesn’t become a pattern anytime soon.

For those that don’t know, Jagger and Hamrick started dating in 2014 after meeting at a concert in Tokyo. Fast forward to 2024, and they’ve been engaged for eight months and share a son together named Deveraux ‘Devi’ Octavian Basil Jagger, 7.

Jagger also has seven other children. He shares one child with Marsha Hunt named Karis Hunt, born in Nov 1970. He has a daughter with Bianca Jagger named Jade Sheena Jezebel, born in Oct 1971. He has four children with Jerry Hall named Elizabeth “Lizzie” Scarlett, born in March 1984, James Leroy, born in Aug 1985, Georgia May Ayeesha, born in Jan 1992, and Gabriel Luke Beauregard, born on Dec 1997. And he has a son named Lucas Maurice, born in May 18, 1999 with Luciana Gimenez.
