Though they’re still living together on The Valley, Jesse Lally and Michelle Lally split shortly after filming was completed last fall. They announced their divorce in March 2024.

Both Michelle and Jesse have been dating other people since they separated in October 2023. But when Michelle shared details about her new boyfriend, some people wondered if he was the “unnamed director” mentioned in Season 1.

Though Michelle admits that things between her and Jesse were “complicated at times,” they’ve both moved on with other people. Now the luxury real estate agent is setting the record straight whether her new guy and the unnamed director are the same person.

Nope.

Michelle clarified that her new boyfriend, financial advisor Aaron Nosler, is not the “super famous” director she was rumored to be hanging out with at the Chateau Marmont. In an interview with The Daily Dish, Michelle confirmed, “This is a new relationship. It’s actually really funny to see everything on TV now.”

“I think people got really confused [about] what I do in real estate,” she continued. A big part of her job requires “networking and building relationships.”

While she may have been spending time with another man, Jesse understood that she was working. “I think when you are secure enough in a relationship or in yourself, you trust Michelle’s not going to do anything,” he said on the show. “If she does something, then that’s on her.”

Michelle denied cheating on Jesse but admitted to regularly spending time with the director at the hotel. The Chateau is well known for catering to an upscale clientele and is within walking distance of the Lally home. It was a good source of contacts for her real estate business.

“There were a lot of actors and actresses and directors,” the mom of one said, “and just wealthy individuals that I meet on a constant basis. I think that was very twisted in a lot of ways.”

While emphatically denying there was ever any romance involved, Michelle still refuses to identify the man. “It’s work, so I want to keep that private,” said Michelle.

Things are serious with her new man

Michelle admitted that the relationship between her and Aaron is “serious.”

“Dating has been very good for me,” she said. “We instantly clicked, and we like the same things, so it’s just been really positive. I’m super happy with him. [We] get along really, really well.”

In fact, things are going so well, she’s already introduced her new man to her and Jesse’s 4-year-old daughter, Isabella Bunny.

“Isabella loves him,” said Michelle. “He’s great with children and with Isabella, and I couldn’t ask for anything more right now.”

The Valley continues Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
