After The MET It’s The After Party: See Your Fave Celebs Celebrate In Style

A slew of after parties followed the 2024 MET Gala charity event and fundraiser held May 6 at The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute. This year’s theme of “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” gravitated the brightest of stars to NYC, styled in creative garments designed with “The Garden of Time” in mind.

Straight from the garden-esqué green carpet, A-listers made their way to multiple after-events, including Richie Akiva’s 10th Annual “The After” party, Cardi B’s FWRD & Revolve Met Ball, Usher’s Secret Garden shindig, and more.

As uncomfortable as it may have been for some stars to walk the stairs at the prestigious Gala earlier in the day (due to wearing literal works of art), the after parties saw celebs change from their perfect evening attire into ensembles more comfortable for a good time.

Cardi B, Teyana Taylor, Usher, Winnie Harlow, Lil Nas X, Doja Cat, Janelle Monáe, and more showed up and showed out on the NYC party scene as drinks flowed, laughter erupted, and the dance floor was set ablaze.
