Melissa Gorga Teases ‘Plot Twist’ in Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 14

During the Season 13 reunion of Real Housewives of New Jersey, OG Teresa Giudice cut ties with her brother, Joe Gorga, and his wife, Melissa Gorga. Viewers had watched the Gorga-Giudice family feud rage on since Season 3. And we were exhausted by the drama.

Now, we know that Melissa and Teresa did not interact during the filming of Season 14. Bravo’s national treasure, Andy Cohen, reportedly commented recently that “it isn’t a sustainable universe to have kind of two camps on the show.” But Andy wasn’t slamming RHONJ. These ladies made it work, unlike the cast of Real Housewives of Potomac.

Melissa and Teresa’s teams are switching members

“I one thousand percent agree with him on that,” Melissa told The U.S. Sun about Andy’s comment about a cast divided not being sustainable.

Melissa continued, “I’m excited. I think it’s a good refreshing season. I know everybody’s seeing the change in dynamics and friendships, and it’s actually going to be quite shocking.”

She added, “I think people are so used to Jersey being about family. It’s a huge twist this year – plot twist!”

Melissa also shared who is on her squad for Season 14. “I have my girls on the show that I trust and I love. Love Dolores [Catania.] I love Margaret [Josephs] and I love Rachel [Fuda],” the Envy boutique owner stated. “I mean, I am getting to know Danielle [Cabral] a lot better this year. She seems like a really down-to-earth, awesome person. So I am also forming new friendships, which I’m happy about,” Melissa added.

So, how will Melissa be celebrating the upcoming Season 14 premiere? “Margaret is actually throwing a big party, so we’re all going to Margaret’s house. I won’t say all of us, but I would say a majority of us are going to Margaret’s house,” Melissa commented. “We never do [one big party]. I feel like the Jersey cast always kind of splits up into sections as you can tell.”

I am pumped to see if Season 14 of RHONJ delivers.
