The Duchess of Sussex will still have to curtsy to the Duchess of Cambridge, and here is why.
DJ: The statement that "he didn't need to" declare a national emergency, undermines the very premise justifying the use of the National Emergency Act powers. There's supposed to be an extreme exigency to it. Those filing injunctions against this will be using that statement and the fact that a GOP majority existed in the House and Senate, and the fact that net immigration has declined since the GOP majorities were in place, and the fact that from the time tRump first broached the notion, months have passed. Therefore, it's unlikely given the sweeping constitutional impact and all of the foregoing FACTS serving as indicia that this isn't a true national emergency that the courts will back his play.
