Meghan Markle's Invictus Games opening ceremony outfit: All the details

Meghan Markle made her first public appearance with boyfriend Prince Harry an incredibly stylish one. The Suits star certainly stood out from the crowd on Saturday, September 23, as she attended the Invictus Games opening ceremony in Toronto. Drenched head-to-toe in burgundy hues, the gorgeous actress cheered on the athletes – and, of course, her royal boyfriend – from the brimming stands.

The 36-year-old opted to wear an ensemble from one of her favorite Toronto stores for the momentous occasion: the machine-washable 'Beaune' midi dress from Wilfred at Aritzia, which retails for $185. The dark purple colored chiffon dress, which sold-out online after Meghan wore it, features a wrap silhouette and full pleated skirt. Meghan styled the feminine dress with a coordinating leather motorcycle jacket from her go-to coat label Mackage.

For an effortlessly cool vibe, the actress wore the soft jacket draped over her shoulders. A tonal velvet clutch bag and pointed stiletto heels completed the outfit, as well as Meghan styling her glossy hair down in loose waves. The star also added smoky eye make-up for the perfect finishing touch. Prince Harry founded the sporting event, that uses the "power of sport" with wounded and ill servicemen and women, in 2014 to inspire recovery, support rehabilitation and to develope a better understanding of those who serve their country.
