Grab your video game controller, because Megan Thee Stallion's new music video just dropped, and it's taking us into another dimension of beauty inspiration.

Megan has been teasing the video game-video for her new song “Boa” for a few days, complete with her own customized, Mortal Kombat- and Street Fighter-esque game covers, and now the full vision is out in the world, complete with a plethora of anime-worthy hairstyles and tons of references.

The video opens with a group of friends playing a new game together, and an animated Megan appears onscreen wearing her hair in an angled choppy choppy half-bob style. It's a look she replicates IRL later in the video, and one that is directly inspired by the One Piece anime character Boa Hancock, who wears her hair in a similar long-but-short style.

In the scene, Megan's hair—styled as usual by her hairstylist Kellon Deryck—is worn long and sleek in the back, with the front and side portion cut super short to hug her cheekbone at a sharp angle, exposing her ears before flowing down past her butt.

Megan's love of video games and anime is legendary; she's a pro gamer, and frequently cosplays her favorite characters, like Mortal Kombat's Mileena. Megan even presented at the Crunchyroll Awards with an anime hairstyle to match. It's definitely not surprising that she'd incorporate her interests into a music video, and every little detail has been perfectly placed.

Elsewhere in the “Boa” music video, we see Megan in a turquoise lob with hot pink bangs, animal ears, and flipped-out ends, styled with frosty pink eye shadow, dancing on a set that looks like it came straight out of Dance Dance Revolution. In one very short scene, she rocks voluminous long, flowing curls. The video also references Jumanji, Street Fighter, and Snake, and you can't miss that Gwen Stefani “What You Waiting For?” sample either!

Sadly, Curse of the Serpent Woman isn't a real video game you can buy and play (yet), but Megan is about to embark on her Hot Girl Summer tour, and you know she has major looks planned.
