It has been a month since I was at the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony inducting Thunderbolt Patterson.

I have been trying to reflect back on the experience, and all I can say is the whole thing was, simply put, truthfully stated amazing.

There was nothing bad about it.

To be driven around from show to show and to be backstage during the live shows in Philadelphia was a positive, fun experience. Everyone I met was a true professional. The production of the shows was unbelievable.

I got an email from someone the next day, who I had not talked to in years, who wrote "I think you have checked off your wish list from when we were kids." I kinda feel like I have. Its always been a lucky life, and this might have been the icing on the cake.

I hope everyone chases their dreams because they are obtainable without question. No joke.

Hanging wit the WGH personalities

I was a kid who turned down the TV volume while watching wrestling matches so I could give my own commentary. I ended up inducting someone into the Hall of Fame live on the WWE network in front of a live crowd of 21,000 fans. I don't know exactly how that happens.

It was fun being with WGH personalities Kerrington Nelson and Matt Morgan. I thank Shawn Craft and Pastor Craig for keeping everything running back at the station.

I want to thank Thunderbolt for asking me to induct him.

I thank Bruce Prichard with the WWE who took off his headset, stood up, shook my hand and said "great speech" as I came back through the curtain after my speech, and WWE Hall of Famer Gerald Brisco who sent me a message saying, "Scott, you were awesome."

Going to Wrestlemania 40 and watching from the luxury box was something. Sitting in the box with the people I watched as a kid, like Jimmy Hart and Haku, was great. They are very nice humans.

Another special honor - a bun on the wall

When I got back, I was invited to the famous Tony Packo's restaurant in Toledo to sign a bun that will hang on the wall there forever. Presidents, movie stars, sports stars and broadcast legends all have signed buns that hang on the wall, and now so have I. How does that happen?

I recently completed a little health issue that had been going on for two years and one month. I have been trying to figure out what it taught me. I think what I learned is TO believe in something higher than yourself. Whatever it is know everything does not start and stop with you. Have a purpose.

You have to have a reason to get out of bed in the morning. Love something or someone unconditionally; love something even if it doesn't love you back. And don't spend your life auditioning for people. At some point you have to say "this is who I am and it's good enough."

The WWE is a class act.

From getting into broadcasting to interviewing Phil Donahue in his New York penthouse, to covering the 2016 Republican Convention, to winning an Associated Press award, my life has been a series of unforgettable, happy experiences I will remember until the day I die.

Here is what I know now for sure. Dream big and work hard. Do not ever say "I can't" or let anyone tell you "you can't" even if you are from or live in Marion, Ohio. Your life is what you want it to be.
