Malayalam superstar Mammootty has a packed schedule with several upcoming projects. The actor will next be seen in the forthcoming movie Turbo, allegedly the most expensive one of his career. Besides Turbo, the actor has a few other projects in his kitty, allegedly including one directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon. Reports have also claimed the movie might mark the actor’s reunion with Nayanthara.

Mammootty will share screen space with Gautham Vasudev Menon in his upcoming movie Bazooka. Moreover, Menon will play a crucial role. However, their rumored project has created a buzz among his fans.

Mammootty and Nayanthara to join hands for a Malayalam movie?

According to a report by OTTplay, Gautham Vasudev Menon is debuting as a director in Malayalam cinema. The microblogging site X (formerly Twitter) is also filled with reports about the upcoming movie. While some cinema enthusiasts have confirmed that the film is being made, others have talked about its female lead.

The report further revealed that Mammootty is bankrolling the movie. Moreover, Nayanthara is being roped in to play the leading lady. The movie will mark the first collaboration between the two stars in eight years. They were last seen in the 2016 film Puthiya Niyamam. As per the report, the actress has already been approached for the role.

Allegedly, Gautham Vasudev Menon has already narrated the script to Mammootty and impressed him. It is also expected to be out by next year. If the reports are to be believed, the movie might be a blockbuster. However, official announcements by either the actor or director are awaited.
