Mama June channels Marilyn Monroe in new photo shoot
Celebs love a good Marilyn Monroe impersonation, and Mama June is the latest to give it a go.
The television personality is promoting Mama June: From Not to Hot, so dressing up in the actress’s iconic look from The Seven Year Itch was a no-brainer. Mama June Shannon is channeling Monroe in that white halter dress for a photo shoot ahead of Friday’s midseason finale.
The 38-year-old reality star has tracked her weight-loss journey on her docuseries, revealing over the summer that she has lost about 300 pounds and is a size 4.
“I thought of myself as being sexy before,” she told People in August. “Now I’m the s***.”
Her new boyfriend agrees. Mama June told Entertainment Tonight she and Geno are “very serious.”
“He is here for the right reasons. He doesn’t care if I’m big or small,” she exclaimed. “He has been [with me] while I’ve been sick. I told him, ‘Look, you don’t have to deal with this. We haven’t been together long. If you want to walk away, you can.’ And he didn’t.”
Wonder if Geno’s a big Marilyn Monroe fan?
