Maison Margiela and Reebok Drop New Instapump Fury Memory Of Sneakers
Maison Margiela and Reebok have come together to release the Instapump Fury Memory Of sneakers in two OG colorways -- black, yellow and red, as well as a black, silver and blue option. The bold combination of primary colors pays homage to the original launch of the chunky shoes in 1996.
Maison Margiela Creative Director John Galliano taps into nostalgia and reinterprets Reebok's classic design into a dynamic form. The back of the shoe arrives with flexible bridges, while the PUMP bladder bears an airy cutout and an oversized shape, resulting in a floaty and bouyant appearance.
The foam around the heel is exposed, whereas the flame-shaped mudguard surrounding the footwear's toe box is stripped of its seams, adding to the shoe's almost 3D-like aesthetic. Meticulously crafted from mesh and fabric-covered TPU, the Instapump Fury also includes an EVA sole with hexalite detailing and a TPU outsole.
Maison Margiela x Reebok Instapump Fury Memory Of will be available on October 21 via Reebok's online store, exclusively in the Asia Pacific region.
