Lupita Nyong’o’s love for cats is well-known, as the actor adopted a feline of her own in 2023 named Yoyo. However, Schnitzel is not just any cat, they are a part of the cast of “A Quiet Place: Day One,” as per Vogue. Moreover, one can also catch a glimpse of the kitty in the trailer, featuring in several scenes throughout.

Schnitzel was dressed for the occasion, looking chic in a bowtie and polka-dotted bandana. The cat’s attire matched their fur color, as the bandana and the bowtie followed a black and white theme. Nyong’o’s cat friend stole the spotlight on the red carpet. Her co-star Joseph Quinn also posed alongside the feline for a few pictures at the London photo call.

While Lupita Nyong’o brought an actual cat to the London photo call, she incorporated the feline theme throughout the “A Quiet Place: Day One” press tour. For the Paris photo call, the “12 Years a Slave” actor carried a cat-shaped purse. The purse made a statement as it was silver and sparkly.

Lupita Nyong’o welcomed a kitten, Yoyo, into her life on Oct. 28, 2023. The actor revealed that she had always been afraid of cats. However, after fostering Yoyo, her life was changed and she couldn’t give him up. So, she adopted the feline. Moreover, Nyong’o was happy to note she has become one of those pet parents whose phones are filled with photos and videos of their furry friends.
