Luke Taylor: 'Abbott Elementary' star coming to campus

Apr. 23—Actor Tyler James Williams will visit the Illini Union this evening for a Q&A with students as part of the Union's Speaker Series.

"Abbott Elementary" fans know Williams as Gregory Eddie, but you may also recognize him from "Everybody Hates Chris," "The Walking Dead" or "Dear White People."

The form is closed now, but attendees had a chance to submit questions ahead of time and be entered for a chance to participate in a meet-and-greet with Williams.

The speaking event will be free to attend with an I-Card and starts at 7 p.m. in the I-Rooms.

This is also the Student Alumni Ambassadors' "I Love Illinois Week," which includes several opportunities for students to pick up some free UI merch and more.
