Luke Bryan may be #62 on Forbes' list of the 100 highest-paid celebrities, but he keeps his holiday traditions as down-home and humble as the rest of us.

On Christmas Eve, such tradition in the Bryan household comes in the form of an annual chili dog feast. “We have a pajama night and we do chili dogs on Christmas Eve, and we’ve always done that," Bryan revealed in a recent interview with his record label, UMG Nashville. "My mother comes up and we go shop. She makes me go shop with her, so we have to pick out all the right stuff. We have to get the proper buns, the proper wieners. It’s very important. All beef wieners for the chili dog cooking. It’s a ritual. So, we’re eating chili dogs in pajamas, and so it’s special anytime you can come up with fun traditions and hold true to them. Yeah, so cooking chili dogs in a onesie is pretty special.”

Christmas these days is all about savoring memories with his kids, both the two sons he shares with wife Caroline Boyer, Tatum and Thomas (who goes by Bo), along with his nieces Jordan and Kris and nephew, Til, whom the Bryans took under their wing after Bryan's sister and brother-in-law passed away.

“My favorite part of the holidays obviously is watching the kids—watching the boys’ excitement for what they may or may not be getting and watching them tear open Christmas presents on Christmas morning," shared Bryan in the same interview. "You got the fireplace going. You got Christmas music on the TV....You get up at 6am. You’re exhausted and you’ve got all your family there. It doesn’t get any better than certainly waking up on Christmas mornings and just having that special time.”

It started when Bryan became the temporary owner of Tebow’s Heisman.

Adding to the fun, it's also "Pranksmas" for the Bryan family these days, with plenty of hilarious stunts taking place around the house.

What we would give to be a fly on the wall in that household. Or a onesie-wearing attendee to their chili dog fest!
