Luke Broderick on Early Valley Scene With Jax Taylor

Jax Taylor has a new playground for drama thanks to The Valley. He and Kristen Doute weaseled their way onto another show after Vanderpump Rules, and they want to make us believe they’re all grown up. But we, the fans, know them better. Jax and Kristen are inherently drawn to mess, and Season 1 of The Valley is a prime example.

Jax hasn’t made it easy for Kristen on the show. He’s been shown questioning her desire to have a baby and hazing her new man Luke Broderick. Luke has been navigating a lot during his first season of reality TV, and Jax is one major landmine.

In a recent episode of Luke and Kristen’s “Balancing Act” podcast, Luke explained a bit about an early scene on the show when he blew up on Jax.

Luke was fed up with Jax’s antics

Luke wanted to set the record straight during the podcast about the guys’ night episode. Jax caused trouble by inviting Kristen’s ex to the soiree, and Luke was understandably upset about it. According to Luke, the conversation between him and Jax was much longer than the episode showed, which explains his level of frustration.

“All I’m gonna say is, they obviously cut to the very end when I just like put my foot down,” Luke explained. “I just gotta say Jax wouldn’t take no for an answer. There were a lot of nos before I got to that point and sometimes you gotta be a little more expressive to get through to some people.”

I don’t think anyone blamed Luke for getting a little heated about something Jax did to stir up drama. He’s been doing it for years on TV, it was just Luke’s first time being the victim.
