Lucy Liu Redefined the LBD Trend With This Super-Rare, Chic Red Carpet Appearance

In case you need a reminder, Lucy Liu is that girl, yknow? She is truly such an icon, and such a fashionable star; and this new red carpet appearance proves it! Not only did we get a rare red carpet moment from Liu this past week, but we also got one of her in a truly unique little black dress, LBD, that’s going to be living in our minds rent-free.
On April 24, Liu arrived in style at the Los Angeles Special Screening Of Netflix’s new film A Man In Full. She arrived on the red carpet in style, and you need to see the photos. Check them out below:

As you can see, she looks oh-so stunning in a sheer, bow-clad, floral LBD from NARDOS, which she paired with matching black pumps from ALEVí Milano and a black clutch from Gedebe. Along with the tailoring done by Ellen Stockbridge and styling done by Sarah Slutsky Tooley, quite a bit went into her full ensemble.
For instance, she had her makeup done by Erin Ayanian Monroe, who says she used Atelier Westman lip suede for the vibrant pink lip and Pat McGrath products for the base.
She got her hair done by Lona Maria Vigi, wore sparkling jewelry from Chopard, and truly stole the show at the premiere (and didn’t hesitate to thank everyone who made her look possible on Instagram)!
In a previous, super-rare interview with Women’s Health, Liu talked about how age means nothing regarding confidence. For her swimsuit cover for Women’s Health, she proudly said: “You don’t have to be 20 to wear a bathing suit.”
Liu added, “With all the flaws and all the life that a body experiences, it’s still something that you should carry with confidence.” (Which is a perfect glimpse into how she shows off her confidence!)
