Looking for an Easter egg hunt on Cape Cod? There's one in nearly every town.

I'm sure I put my eggs somewhere around here!

As eggs are being hidden and bunnies are hopping to say hello to children, many town Recreation Departments and other Cape Cod groups are hosting Easter events in celebration of the spring holiday. If you're looking for a local Easter egg hunt or something fun to do with the family to celebrate Easter, here's a roundup of all the Easter fun happenings on Cape Cod through Easter Sunday on March 31.

Cape Cod Easter Egg Hunts

Mashpee Easter egg hunt

The Mashpee Recreation Department’s annual Easter egg hunt is set for 10 a.m. on March 23 at Community Park, 13 Great Neck Road North in Mashpee across from Mashpee Town Hall.

Dennis Easter egg hunt

The Dennis Recreation Department is hosting its annual Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. on March 23 at John Kelley Park.

Egg hunters are asked to bring their own bag or basket to the event. John Kelley Park is at 180 Old Bass River Road in South Dennis.

Falmouth Easter egg hunt

Falmouth’s Easter egg hunt is set to take place at 11 a.m. on March 23 at the West Falmouth Library at 575 West Falmouth Highway.

Hyannis Easter egg hunt

The Cape Cod Mall’s annual Easter Egg Hunt will begin at 10:30 a.m. on March 23.

Participants are asked to bring their own baskets. The hunt begins inside the Macy’s Women’s Court where egg hunters will pick up a clue list and take part in a scavenger hunt-style egg hunt throughout the mall.

The Cape Cod Mall is at 769 Iyannough Road in Hyannis. For more information, call 508-771-0201.

Yarmouth Easter egg hunt

Yarmouth’s annual Easter Egg Hunt, hosted by the Yarmouth Recreation Department, will start at 10 a.m. on March 23 at Flax Pond Recreation Area (31 Dupont Ave., Yarmouth.) Crafts and games will accompany the egg hunt along with a special visit from the Easter Bunny.

Osterville Easter egg hunt

The Osterville Village Library’s Easter egg hunt, sponsored by Pocket Full of Posies, begins at 9:05 a.m. on March 30. To ensure all participants find an egg and enjoy the hunt, eggs are limited to 5 per child.

Little ones will search inside the Lillian Dixie Morton’s Children’s Room while the older kids will search on the lower level of the library.

Wellfleet Easter Egg Hunt

The Wellfleet Recreation Department is hosting three Easter egg hunts on March 30 at Uncle Tim’s Bridge.

The first hunt — for toddlers and preschool-aged children — begins at 11:00 a.m., the second hunt — for kids in kindergarten to second grade — begins at 11:15 a.m. and the third and final hunt — for kids in 3rd grade and above — begins at 11:30 a.m.

Uncle Tim’s Bridge is off Commercial Street in Wellfleet.

Brewster Easter egg hunt

Brewster’s Easter egg hunt is set to take place at 9 a.m. on March 30 on the front lawn of Ocean Edge Resort.

The Easter Bunny will be stopping by to say hello to egg hunters at 8:45 a.m. Then the egg hunt, which is open to children ages 10 and under. It begins at 9 a.m. and is free to attend. Kids should bring their own baskets and parents or guardians are asked to park in the parking lot past the Mansions and walk to the front lawn.

Oceans Edge Resort is at 2907 Main St. in Brewster.

Eastham Easter egg hunt

Eastham’s Easter egg hunt, hosted by Eastham Recreation and the Orleans-Eastham Elks Lodge, is set to take place at 9:30 a.m. on March 30 at the Elks Lodge at 10 McKoy Road in Eastham.

Orleans Easter egg hunt

Come and meet the Easter Bunny and participate in an Easter egg hunt, hosted by the Orleans Recreation Department, at 1 p.m. on March 30 at Sea Call Farm (82 Tonset Road in Orleans.)

The egg hunt is open to kids aged 12 and under. Egg hunters are asked to bring their own baskets and parents and guardians are asked to park on the side of the road near the Orleans cemetery if on-site spaces are full.

Provincetown's Spring Celebration

Provincetown’s 6th annual Spring Celebration, hosted by the Provincetown Recreation Department, Provincetown PTA and Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Museum, starts at 9 a.m. on March 30.

At the celebration, attendees will be able to hunt for Easter eggs and meet the Easter Bunny. Coffee and pastries will also be served. Attendees are asked to pre-register for one of several time slots online at www.provincetown-ma.gov/84/Recreation/.

Chatham Bars Inn Easter egg hunt

Chatham Bars Inn is hosting an Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. on March 31 on the South Lawn. The Easter Bunny will be at the hunt to help children find their eggs and play a few fun games of croquet, cornhole and ladder ball.

Chatham Bars Inn is at 297 Shore Road in Chatham.

Harwich Easter egg hunt

The Pilgrim Congregational Church 533 Route 28 in Harwich Port in, is hosting a community Easter egg hunt at 11:15 a.m. on March 31.

Spring craft fair to benefit Bourne Food Pantry

Looking for a few last-minute items to fill your Easter baskets or just looking for a fun way to fill your Saturday? One of our Cape Cod Times subscribers, Dotty Mcnamara, is hosting a “Spring Craft Fair and Flea Market” from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on March 30 at the Pocasset Village Association Community Building.

Proceeds from the craft fair, flea market, and its "giant” raffle table benefit the Bourne Food Pantry. The Pocasset Village Association Community Building is at 314 Barlows Landing Road in Bourne.

Chatham Bars Inn Easter Events

In addition to their Easter egg hunt, Chatham Bars Inn is hosting other Easter events throughout Easter Weekend.

This year, the inn is selling Easter baskets for $80, which will be available for pick up from March 22 to March 31. For members of the inn and the public, baskets can be picked up from the concierge, but guests staying at the inn will have their baskets delivered to their rooms on Easter Sunday.

Along with Easter baskets, the inn is hosting two Easter egg-decorating events: a Pysanky, or traditional Ukrainian egg-decorating workshop, and an Easter egg dyeing class.

The Pysanky workshop is for people aged 16 and older and has two sessions: 5 p.m. on March 29 and 10 a.m. on March 30 and costs $50 per person.

The egg dyeing class is open to children and adults of all ages and will take place at 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on March 30 and costs $40 per person.

Mashpee Commons Easter Events

Mashpee Commons is hosting several free Easter events on March 30.

An Easter egg hunt will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at participating stores in the Commons followed by photos with the Easter Bunny and face painting from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Common’s Central Square and a special egg hunt for pups, hosted by Hot Diggity Dog, at 11 a.m. on the Village Green.

Easter Egg Painting at Wellfleet Public Library

Decorate an Easter egg at the Wellfleet Public Library at 2:30 p.m. on March 29. The event is free and open to the public. The Wellfleet Public Library is at 55 West Main St. in Wellfleet.
