Take a look inside Five Points’ newest music venue

DENVER (KDVR) — If you hear tunes on the corner of 29th Street and Larimer Street, it’s most likely coming from an event at the newly opened Two Moons Music Hall.

The Five Points neighborhood just gained more access to live entertainment with nightly open-door shows that usually never require reservations.

In February, the place was still a work in progress. Now, it has a full list of events every week, ranging from rock, acoustic, jazz, open mic and DJs.

Many of the events are walk-ins and don’t require tickets, like recurring appearances from Retrofette every first Saturday, Venus Cruz every second and fourth Tuesday, open mic nights the first Wednesday of every month and Honky-tonk Thursdays.

The 200-person room includes two levels of seating with a bar that serves craft cocktails, wine, beer and non-alcoholic options, along with snacks like olives, cheeses and meats.

Two Moons Music Hall is located at 2944 Larimer St., next to the former Modern Nomad store. While the goal is to keep the space for walk-in entertainment, some nights require tickets and other events have cover fees.

If you’re looking for last-minute plans and didn’t plan for music at Red Rocks, this spot is now open with entertainment six nights a week.
