Dodge/Gabe Is In Front Of The Omega Door In New "Locke and Key" Season 2 Clip

Be careful with the keys that you find at the Key House. The Locke family has officially moved in and things aren't what they seem in their new home thanks to all the secrets that are hidden within its walls. As Kinsey, Bode, and Tyler continue to find the keys and the special power that they each hold, they soon figure out that they're linked to something even bigger than they could have ever imagined. But, with a sinister villain out to get the keys for her secret plan, things aren't going to be easy for them.

When does season 2 come out?

We can expect to see season 2 hit the streaming platform on Friday, October 22. When production was still underway, but the cast got together to announce that the series will officially be back on our screens this fall. They also shared some brand new images that show us some new keys, some big surprises, and Dodge doing whatever it takes to make their plan work. Check it all out below:

Are there any clips from season 2?

Yes! On Thursday, October 21, Cosmopolitan posted an exclusive clip of Gabe and Eden in front of the Omega door once again. You already know this isn't a good sign. The caves got pretty bad during high tide, so the coast guard told them to. In the clip, Eden has the Crown of Shadows — so you can only imagine what comes next. Will there be any new characters joining?

Bode will finally get a new BFF after everything that happened in season 1. Liyou Abere will be joining the cast as Amie Bennett, "a spirited 11-year-old who becomes fast friends with Bode and an ally against the evil forces threatening the Lockes," according to Deadline.

Also The Tick's Brendan Hines will be playing Josh Bennett, "a charismatic and mysterious new history teacher at Matheson Academy with a secret agenda."

Who will be coming back?

After the season 1 finale, we should expect to see all our favorite characters come back including Kinsey, Bode, Tyler, Gabe, and Scot. The big mystery will be whether or not Ellie will return after she was banished behind the Black Door.

Meanwhile, some familiar faces have been bumped to series regulars. Aaron Ashmore and Hallea Jones have been promoted from their featured roles as Duncan Locke and Eden Hawkins, respectively.

Is season 2 of Locke and Key actually happening?

Get ready to head back to the Key House. Locke and Key is officially coming back for another season. Viewers will get to find out what happens to the Locke kids after their big showdown with "Dodge" and the big reveal of Gabe not being who he says he is.

When will season 2 start filming?

Production has already started on the second season! The cast posted some sweet selfies of them with their scripts as they got ready to film brand new episodes. The first episode is called "The Premiere" so something huge will definitely be happening.

What is going to happen in season 2?

There's a good chance the show will come back right where it left off and fans will finally get to see what happens as Dodge pretends to be Gabe along with Eden who was hit with something that was behind the Black Door. With the two of them looking for the keys, the Locke kids will have a big showdown to make sure they stay safe.
