Little girl calls mom a ‘traitor’ for having a best friend other than her before she was born
This little girl called her mom out for being best friends with someone other than her before she was born, and it was so hilarious!
Kat (@gushergoo) is a parent and TikToker who is best friends with her daughter, Scotlyn. But that wasn’t always the case. In a hilarious video, Scotlyn asks her mom if she was ever best friends with someone else, and is outraged when her mom admits that she was—even though the friendship occurred before Scotlyn was even born!
The video begins with Kat and Scotlyn sitting in a car enjoying some fast food. In a caption, Kat explains that they are in the middle of a roadtrip to visit Scotlyn’s dad. For a moment, mother and daughter happily snack in silence. Then, Scotlyn hits her mom with a tough question.
“Are you best friends with someone else?” Scotlyn asks her mom in an accusatory tone of voice.
“No!” Scotlyn replies, shaking her head vehemently.
“Before I was born?” Scotlyn asks.
This surprises Kat, who starts laughing and nearly chokes on her food.
Scotlyn stares angrily at her mom. “Yes, you were,” she says. “You were Alexis’ friend.”
Kat attempts to stop laughing and catch her breath. Then, she replies to her daughter. “Mhmm,” she agrees. “I was.”
Scotlyn stares at her mom in shock and horror.
“But you’re my bestie now!” Kat says, trying to placate her daughter.
“Traitor,” Scotlyn says, which makes Kat start laughing uncontrollably again.
Scotlyn giggles a little, showing she’s not really mad. But she’s committed to the joke. “Why would [you] pick Alexis instead of me?” she asks.
“You weren’t even born yet,” Kat replies.
“You could’ve picked me!” Scotlyn exclaims as the video ends.
Viewers were cracking up at the hilarious mother-daughter duo.
“The way she called you out!” one viewer wrote.
“You’re doing something right, mama,” another viewer commented.
“The fact that you didn’t pre-plan this friendship 36,769 years in advance is ‘traitor’ enough to this child,” joked another TikToker.
