Lisa Vanderpump Delves Into the Future of Vanderpump Rules

While some folks feel uncertain about Vanderpump Rules’ future, Lisa Vanderpump doesn’t seem quite so unsure. It seems she’s got the future all figured out.

Some reports suggest that Vanderpump Rules was meant to end after Season 10. But once Scandoval broke, the drama between Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval was too much to leave alone. So, perhaps unwisely, Bravo picked up cameras for Season 11 almost right away.

Having learned from that course of action, the show will enter a hiatus going into Season 12. Still, some speculate (and even hope) that the show won’t look the same by then if it still exists at all. But what are Lisa’s thoughts on the matter?

Lisa addresses the cast removing VPR from their Insta bios

In a recent interview with Access Hollywood, Lisa spoke on the future of VPR. First and foremost, she confirmed that there would be another season. The show would simply be on hiatus in the meantime since she and the cast had other pursuits to take care of. For example, she mentioned Ariana’s next Broadway run.

That prompted the interviewer to ask if she’d be back for Season 12, considering she removed the show from her bio on Instagram. “No, that’s not true,” Lisa responded, quickly recalibrating. “They said everybody did. I spoke to Tom Schwartz this morning and he said, ‘It was never in my bio.’ With this group, I never know what they’re doing till they’ve done it.”

That concluded the talk of VPR’s future. Regarding its present, the interviewer asked about Ariana’s refusal to give Tom his redemption arc. “Sometimes in a relationship, you can call it a day if something really hurts you. And you just don’t understand that person anymore. I’ve had experiences when I think ‘You know what? It’s done. We’re done.’”
